Wilbur made a face and stuck out his tounge. "Work..." he whined almost like a kid again. "But this is so much." he had to admit that it was practically his fault the library looked this way, due to getting startled by her sudden appearance he probably could have knocked over two bookshelves. "Alright, i suppose we should do it without magic, i have a feeling if i did do it, i would summon a dragon..."
Were dragons real? Knowing his luck, they probably were.

She chuckled a bit at his comment. "Come on, work isn't all bad. My father used to say it builds character." She said laughing. Picking up a few books and placing them back where they belonged. "If only I had telekinesis. Of all the powers whitelighters are supposed to have they didn't include that." She rolled her borwn eyes. In her eyes, the only useful thing was her shapeshifting, and of course her healing, but how many times would she have to use that? "Besides, They always taught me magic for personal gain was wrong, and only to use it for the greater good."

"Yeah?" Wilbur asked at the comment about the greater good. he had heard a stories of witches and wizards that often became corrupted by darkness and did not use it to help others but rather for their own personal gain. He hoped he would never be like that.
Slowly he started placing books back on the shelf. "Good thing this place is always open..."

"Me too. I hate breaking rules. I'm just surprised they didn't give students a curfew. If they did we'd surely be breaking it by being out so late." She said. She made sure to set the Whitelighter book away from the rest so she wouldn't accidently put it back. "I'm willing to bet there's some sort of crazy organizing system we couldn't figure out and we're putting these back out of order." She said with a laugh. The thought amused her, but she honestly wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Just about everything about this place was crazy.

Wilbur had to smile at that thought. "Maybe there is, but only one person knows it." he said mysteriously. "It seems to me that they either like this when we got here and the librarian has showned up yet, or they just like to mess with students." he crossed his arms over his chest. "Either way, the least we could do is try to figure it out."
Glancing at the shelves, he finally realized how big the library was. How could anyone find anything in here without some kind of organizing system.

"Good luck. We'll be here all night." She said. She went over possibilities in her head but none of them seemed to be it. "Knowing this place it's something nether of us would think of in a million years. So throw out all obvious ones." She said. Though she hadn't yet figured out that thinking outside the box was something her new friend was good at. "And personally I think they do it to get on our nerves." Someone like Shanti needed some type of organization. There very well may have been one, but she wasn't seeing it. If she had enough time she would no doubt reorganize all the books herself to her own liking, but it was late enough as it was, and something like that would no doubt take days with a library this large.

wilbur smiled. "Guess that's what kids will be doing in detention huh?" he said. It seemed like the perfect punishment for kids that got into trouble. With any luck he would stay out of it The last thing he needed was to go through this entire library and blow it up. "I mean some of them make sense, this whole shelf is about mystical creatures. But the other ones are all bunched together."

"Detention?" She asked. It sounded familiar, no doubt she had read about it in her studies. She wracked her brain for the answer quickly before it finally came to her. "Oh! Detention! That's where teachers send students who misbehave." She said as she finally remembered. "I hope I never end up there. I've heard aweful things about it. Though I must say that this would be the perfect punishment." She said with a laugh. "I don't know about you, but I think if we keep trying to figure this out we'll be here until morning." She said jokingly.

Wilbur had to laugh. "Well, with my luck i will be in detention the first day." he said. he had that kind of problem at his old schools, but hey he was one for trouble, as his parents said, Wilbur was a magnet for trouble, if he didn't find it. It would find him.
"I don't see what would be so bad about staying here until morning...i get to spend more time with you."
Oh how his relatives would probably be laughing their heads off if they heard him say that. He didn't mind though, he enjoyed Shanti's company.

"It's not hard to stay out of trouble you know." She said. "Just follow the rules and listen to your teachers." Of course for some that was easier said than done, but for Shanti it was a second nature. She did as she was told and never disobeyed teachers or elders. It had worked like a charm for her so far. However his next words had her blushing slightly, and she almost lost grip of the books she was carrying. "Uh thanks." She said shyly. It was obvious boys were not her strong suit. "I geuss that's one good thing about it." She said with a nervous laugh. The logical part of her screamed for her to turn around and go to bed or she'd be exhausted for class tomorrow, but for once, she wasn't listening.

"Eh, listening was never my strongest trait." he shrugged.'You just had to open your big mouth..' he thought with a grumble. He had never even talked to a girl. and this is how he did it? He was pretty sure what he had just said was a pick-up line. "So uh...you find a roomate yet? I heard that you get one when you come here..."

"Listening isn't that hard." She insisted. "Just do what your told and nothing bad could possibly happen." Was that a naive outlook on life? Probably yes, but Shanti had always been a bit naive anyways. "Nope." She said in response to his question. "I just hope whoever I get, if I get anyone at all, they're at least nice. If I have to live with them for the next who knows how long then I at least want to get along with them." She said. Most people here seemed nice, but some looked terrifying. "What about you?" She asked curiously. "Do you know who you'll be rooming with?"

Wilbur shook his head. "But like you i hope they are at least semi-friendly. i would hate to have to room with a demon...not that there's anything wrong with demons of course. Demons are awesome, but i rather do like my arms intact."
He laughed nervously. This conversation was getting no where except for Wilbur's embarrasment.

(On my phone so I don't feel like account swapping lol) She couldn't help but laugh. He seemed nervous, it was actually kind of cute. "Well, I'm an angel and we tend to clash with demons so that probably wouldn't work for me. Strangely enough we usually get along with witches and wizards the best. Probably because they're usually the ones that end up being our charges. Most people think it's a coincidence but I just think they like the danger. No offense" She said with a laugh. "Oh, I'm sorry I'm rambling." She said. She didn't know why but she did that a lot.

Wilbur smirked. "Oh yes, that's our type, we love all kinds of danger." he said. Of course he did, he lived for that kind of thing, that was exactly what he liked about his magic, even though he could use it to make people happy, it sometimes got him into exciting stuff. "It's alright, i think rambling is a good thing..." Wilbur said. "It happens to me quite a bit."
