Personality: (include, after discovering their powers,finding a place for kids people like them to belong) Thanks to his mother being goddess of wisdom and battle strategy and his father being in the military, Kaidan tends to think of plans a lot. He's a rather nice guy, but if you do something to make him mad, he's probably not going to forgive you. He's also bound to say something sarcastic often.
After discovering his powers, he's become a bit more worried about the people he stays around, scared he'll accidently hurt them, or kill them. He's also a bit more shy around girls, after the last girl he liked was completely scared of him.

History:
Kaidan grew up living without his mother, growing up believing that she had crashed before he was born and had died once he was finally born. Because of the accident, he also believed that he had brain surgery to give him his powers. So he went to a camp with several others that actually did have that surgery which granted their powers. He had a crush on one of the girls, but frightened her once he snapped the neck of an alien that broke her arm. The alien died from that, thanks to no nearby medical assistance.
So he had to hide for a while. Now at the age of 18, he finally returned back home where his dad told him the truth about his mother, that she was Athena. Kaidan was surprised by this, but after explanation, it made sense. His father made arrangements to get him into Rain Haven where he would learn how to control his powers, since the camp didn't work out too well with that.

"Mrs. Rider? Can I ask you something?" Kaidan asked. His hazel eyes looked up to Rapunzel, hoping she could answer his question.
"Yes, Kaidan, what is it you need?" Rapunzel replied. She wasn't a mind-reader, so she couldn't figure out what he wanted.
"Were you scared to tell your husband you loved him? I mean, there's th-"
"There's a girl you like?" Kaidan nodded nervously. Rapunzel was one of the few people he trusted. So why not ask her for some advice?
"Don't be shy. Just tell her how you feel about her. I met my husband at your age, and you never know what may happen with you and this girl. Could you tell me who it is?"
"She's... I gotta go, bye." And out the door Kaidan went. Maybe if he told the last girl he liked that he liked her, maybe she wouldn't be gone. Maybe. But he was at a new place starting off fresh. Hopefully, he'd be just fine.
