((I watch too much Glee XD Set onDecember 5th the morning after Welcome Home? Takes place in Chase's combat class, anybody's welcome ^^))
Kimiko took another look at her schedule and sighed heavily. She didn't ask for combat class. She wasn't into fighting like that. That's not to say she wasn't good at it, it just wasn't her thing. She blew a strand of blonde hair out of her eyes before making her way into the classroom. To say it was depressing was an understatement. It was decked out in dark greens and blacks, and the weapons on the wall weren't doing anything to calm the teenagers nerves.
What did however, was when she caught sight of the teacher. He looke dlike he hopped straight out of a Holister magazine, only he didn't look nearly as preppy as them. And that only served to make him far more attractive. She stood in the doorway, not taking into account that she probably looked like a loon.

Chase grumbled something about having to wake up early that he didn't notice the girl until he turned around. Looking around he thought maybe the girl might be in the wrong room, she clearly did not look like she could handle combat, yet who was he to judge. He had a demon inside him. Not many people could handle that.
"If you are going to come in I suggest you do it now, or the other students might get angry..."

His words shook her out of her trance-like state as her cheeks turned red slightly in emberassment. "Oh right, I was just..." She looked around in hopes of finding an excuse to save herself from emberassment, cursing when she found none. "Uh sorry." She muttered. Walking to he center of the room without a second glance at him.
"So wht is it we do in here, anyways?" She asked. Well, that was a dumb question. Learned how to fight obviously, but really she was just trying to change the subject.

Chase raised an eyebrow at her. "I would think it was obvious, it's combat class." he said. He wasn't exactly sure why Rapunzel had insisted that he had ot do this job, he never liked kids, in fact he would love anything more than to work with kids. "It's pretty simple, I am here to teach you how to fight against different kinds of beings, just to know what you are up against."
He looked at her for a moment. "For example: you are a...." he waited for to fill in the blank

"I know that!" She snapped, she knew it was a stupid question, and the fact that he pointed it out only made her feel more stupid. But it seemed he didn't want to be here as much as she didn't. Though she thought teaching was a choice, and coming to class wasn't. She'd have to ask about that later.
At his question she spoke again. "I'm a witch, an elemental witch." She siad. Not a very good one in her oppinion. By now it wasn't obvious that her element was fire but one wrong move from the teacher, or another student could easily change that.

Chase smirked at the attitude. He liked that, she was feisty and eager. He needed students that didn't hold anything back even if going up against a demon or impossible odds. "Here i could teach a witch like you how to properly fight a demon or a fallen angel without getting yourself brutally ripped apart or killed."
Something told him that this class would be interesting indeed

"I'm sure I can manage." She said with a roll of her eyes. At least, she could manage enough to not get herself ripped apart. After all they were all here for the same reason, to learn how to control their powers. It seemed they were all about the same skill level. However, despite being capable she wasn't to proud to admit that she probably needed a lot of help. She would also admit that that smirk suited him nicely, but she'd never say that out loud.

"Are you sure about that?" he asked taking a seat on his desk. "I seriously doubt you could handle some of the darker people here, you might stand a chance against Mab's daughter but others well i am not sure about that." He said his eyes flashing. "Then again, that's what this class is for, to prove to others that you are stronger than they are."

"So you're implying that I'm weak?" She asked, obvious edge in her voice, once again taking things the wrong way. "I'll have you know I can handle myself just fine." She said, pursing her lips in annoyance. Perhaps she was exxaderating, as her power had the tendency to work when it wanted to, but that's how she got when she was angry, she over sells herself in an attempt to fight back. "And even if I couldn't, that's why I'm here: To learn."
geez whatever happened to encouraging teachers[/i] she thought rolling her eyes.

"Not at all, i am merely implying that you have a lot to learn." he said leaning on his desk. "Good to know a few students here are willing to learn. Some of them on the other hand i have my doubts." he said thinking back to all the students that walked down the halls. They all either seemed, jumpy, overconfident, or just plain flirty...it was not something he enjoyed.

"Hey, it's either I learn or another school has a "mysterious" fire." She said, only half-joking. She didn't mean to start all those fires, they came out of nowhere, and now here she was. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise or something, now she was here with the chance to learn, but she still looked at it as a curse.
"And aren't you supposed to beleive in your students?" She asked, and amused smile on her face. He certainly wasn't the textbook definition of a teacher, what was a few other streyotypes broken?

"I don't think that was meant ot be in my job description," he said giving her a tiny smirk. "If my students can prove to me that they can handle this class then i might believe in them, but considering that i am not going to go easy on any of you, it is going to take a lot of work..."

"Well you're certainly not like any other teacher I've had." She muttered. "Maybe if you showed a little encouragment more of you're students would make it through the year without having a nervous breakdown." She said. "I mean it doesn't help that you're extremely intimidating. No offense or anything." She said adding the last part so she wouldn;t get in trouble. Though she was sure he would take it as some weird compliment.

(too lazy to change accounts don't kill me XD)
"No offense taken." Chase said. "I have that effect on people." he had to chuckle, it was the same thing Rapunzel had said, he was intemidating, and it made people scared of him. It was normal, a simple reaction to this. He wasn't always like that though.
There was a time where he could laugh and smile. Yet, the demon inside him kept him at bay from that. "So elemental witch huh?"

((Lol Lazyness has taken over the both of us XD))
"You say that like it's a good thing." She grumbled. It reminded her of her past expiriences. Everybody, even her family, minus her father, were afraid of her. She'd walk down the halls and hear them whisper about how she needed to be locked up, or put in a mental institution. She wasn't like that.
"Yeah." She sighed in response to his question. "Not all it's cracked up to be really." She said
